Ever crave pho at a random time? Just realizing it's way too late? Wishing there were a place where you can eat pho after hours. Well there is such a place. Just take a drive down to Westminester on Bolsa Avenue and open 24 hours a day is Pho Hoa. They've got a variety of things to choose from on the menu. From rice plates to original pho bowls(For a reasonable price, varrying from $6-$7 a bowl), choosing what ingredients you want in your bowl from briskets to tripe(Carefull, you might be pressured to order some Meat balls). And if you want a refill on noodles, they provide that for $1 i believe (or sometihing like that). They've also got great egg roll appetizers and vegetable pho for the non-meat eaters. Their service is a bit questionable. But what foreign speaking restaurant isn't?
Not to sure u want to drive all the way to Westminester and then find u don't like anything from their menu? Check it out, they've also got a website! So the next time it feels a little nippy outside, and your craving something warm and delicious. Check out Pho Hoa. Be sure that the sign says Pho Hoa because there's also another 24 Pho spot that is also good, but they charge for water.

Words of advice: Durring the weekends(even on thursdays) after hours(usually after 2am) there might be a crowd there because alot of people tend to go there after the club.
Well, the inevitable has happend. We(Robert and I) started our own Lakers Blog here at blogspot named Daily Dynasty. Took a while just to figure a name. We tried "Showtime", "L.A.kers", "Lightsout"(which is probably my favorite) and ended with "Daily Dynasty". It has that newspaper sound to it dont it?. Well the idea for this blog came from Robert who then saw my blogspot and gave me a "serious proposition" to start our own Lakers blog, being that we both are die hard Laker fans. And so we did. Things are still in the works, but if you're interested please go and check it out.
So for new updates on Lakers. Just go on Daily Dynasty.

Lakers played poorly in this 106-95 game with The Detroit Pistions who handed us our first loss. The Motor city came out on top as the better team last night against the L.A. team who had hardly put up a fight, until the very last minutes. One reason, they simply wanted it more than we did. Detroit, known as a defensive team showed just that. Making the Lakers panic and shoot quick jumpers instead of moving the ball trying to find the open man or just simply kickin' into the post which we lacked points in the paint. Kobe's 96' rookie mate Allen Iverson had his way with the lakers getting almost any shot he wanted and creating for his team. I really don't want to go into stats right now because I know it'll just piss me off and also cause I don't want to go to NBA.com and seeing the headlines of us no longer being undefeated.
And if it wasn't already bad enough that we weren't making our shots, we also looked bad on the defensive end. Our point guards were getting beat off the dribble leading to penetration which someone had to rotate in leaving another man open. There were also times when Bynum would double way too early leaving his man open, and worst of all hardly anyone rotated on bynums man. I mean got dammit dood! someone help his ass out (even if he doubled too early) because you would rather defend a guy with an easier basket than the man outside. Someone would be bound to run out if there were a shooter.
All in all it was a frustrating game for the Lakers. Only good thing I can really say is they never quit. They played poorly on both ends all four quarters but still managed to cut their 20 point lead towards the end of the fourth, to 11. But it's okay Laker fans, we'll get through this loss and hopefully become a more hungrier team. I call this loss a wake up call, showing that we need to work hard on certain areas and we should fight every game. Up next is The Chicago Bulls and the 2008 No.1 pick Derrick Rose on Tuesday at Staples Center. Hopefully we clean up our shit and come out hard and shouldn't that hard of a game.
ALSO: Kwame Brown had a pretty good game against us. He had a nice block on Gasol and defended Bynum pretty well. Also played a good pick and roll, which was all a big "fuck you" and "thanks for trading me" statement to the whole Lakers organization.
